Excellent piece Kelly. Your statement, “Settler colonialism and capitalism are inherently genocidal.”, is spot on. I found you today via a Recommendation from @Sarah Kendzior. Have you interviewed her before?

Thanks for reading! I have interviewed Sarah on my podcast Movement Memos, but we also had a convo today that I plan to publish next week here in my newsletter.

"hope is a discipline"

That one stuck with me..

And no doubt resonated

Likely because I lack both at present..

Lacking the former leads to erosion of the latter, & vice versa really.

Thank you for what you do, I appreciate your lists, & the time you put into this seeming labor of love.

You are one of like 20 substacks I wish I could actually pay, but at this point 2 of the many I follow are all I can afford. But I do appreciate you & what you do...

So thank you! And know that your words and the suggestions of other peoples thoughts & words help put a little light on the dark path that is my life at present 🕯️🙏

Thanks for reading! And I feel you on the financial front. I can't pay for all the stacks I would like to subscribe to either. The good thing about this model is that the folks who can pay make it easier for me to make content that can be shared freely with everyone. I deeply appreciate them and deeply appreciate folks taking the time to read, regardless of whether they can be a paid subscriber. It's all of us getting the chance to think alongside one another that matters.

Th a nk you Kelly for this clear view of the completehistory I spent most of my life demonstrating against. Now we continue to fight against the dregs of his influence in the world.

The nation-wide movement in the death throes of capitalism that you are asking for already exists and is gathering steam, growing fast.

It is the PoorPeoples' Campaign started by Dr. KING and resurrected by Dr. William J. Barber, ll who will only follow the leadership of locals fighting the moral fight for justice for ALL Americans. See REPAIRERS OF THE BREACH training of clergy in Jacksonville,FL taking place as I write this.
